A Visit to the Library - by Swara (Badger Class)

I went to the Library in Fleet,with my Mummy and Daddy on a Saturday. The Library is very close to my school and my house. I saw lots of books in the Library. Mummy told me there were books for all ages for grown ups and the kids.I was very excited to see so many books. There was also a space where there were some chairs to sit and read. I selected two books which we bought home to read. I also saw a computer. It was similar to what we have in the class. I enjoyed my visit to the Library and will be going soon again.

Scooby and the jet by Sam (Fox Class)

Once  there  were  two little  boys called Sam and Ben who were lost in a dark , deadly  cave.  They were terrified because they’d heard that cobras and tarantulas lurked inside . They had a dog called Scooby doo and his favourite snacks were Scooby snacks because they turned him into whatever they needed. But there was only one problem. They had no snacks left!
Suddenly they saw a flashing, golden light.   It was a box of Scooby snacks. ‘Yummy’ said Scooby as he ate one or two snacks suddenly!  He turned into a jet.  With a shudder and a shake they took off and zoomed home.

Papa Birthday by Ria (Otter Class)

We went Alfresco to celebrate my Papa birthday Sophia came we had food we had icecream we cut the cake and had sweets then we went home. He was 40 we had fun and the cake was yummy. We had a good time. we came back and went to sleep.

The Big Ben by Akshaiyan (Fox Class)

My interesting building is Big Ben . I like to see time on top of Big Ben tower.  The Big Ben is the nickname for the  great bell of the clock in London.The tower has became one of the most famous symbol in the UK.The tower is over 16 m hight.The tower was completed in 1858.The clock's movements is  famous for its reallability .The designers were Edmund Becekttanl and George Arly. I like to hear the chimes of the Big Ben bell. The Big Ben was shown in many films to indicate UK.In the New year celebrations T.V and radio staton tune to Big Ben chimes to welcome the start of the new year.

Foxy story by Ben (Eagle Class)

Foxy played tennis with his friends and then he played football and then he had a wash then the next day he wet to the cafay and had choclut coocy.

Sofia's holiday in Italy by Sofia (Otter Class)

I went to Italy in half term skiing. We had private lessons with Ivo at the start of the holiday, some of the rest of the holiday I skied with other people that I’ve never met before. I got knocked over by a snowboarder and got a bit scared, so I did Daddy ski-school. My cousin and Uncle came skiing too, so we all skied together. It was really snowy sometimes and you couldn’t see a thing. I liked the food, especially the hot dogs and pizza. I would like to go back again as it was awesome and fun.

When Mummy came into school by Joshua B (Rabbit Class)

I loved having my Mummy in school with me. We made train tracks with Oscar and Lily.
Mummy and me made a castle in the small playground.
I showed Mummy how we get our lunch on a tray and choose our own pudding!
I liked playing hide and seek in the big playground but Mummy wasn't very good at it!
I loved making the fire engine with junk modelling with Mummy.
It was great to go out the door straight away at the end of the day with Mummy as she was already there.
I'm mega excited about Daddy coming in to school with me soon.

My visit to a fire station by Elodie (Rabbit Class)

I went to a fire station with my mummy and daddy. Our neighbour is a fireman. We had a ride in the fire engine. I got to spray water from the hose. I got to make the water bigger and bigger. We stood in a box at the front of the fire engine and went up in the air. It was so exciting.  We got to see what was in the fire engine; all the things the firemen use. I got to try on an oxygen mask and a helmet.  I learnt how important and helpful fireman are. We had such a great time.

Buildings by Mrs Hayes

In New York the buildings are tall,
Hardly any are ever small.
They are colours of grey, white and gold,
Some are new, some are very old.

The Empire State building is imposing and grand,
The Statue of Liberty is 151 feet from base to hand!

The Chrysler building's gargoyles are made out of steel.
I truly hope they never become real!

Trump Tower is so shiny you can see your face,
(Although some would prefer to see Trump in space)

In short, New York is full of interesting buildings to see.
But if you go and visit them, please will you take me?

Iceland by Mrs Gadd

So excited to be going away,
Packed a suitcase with warm clothes for three days.
Said "Goodbye" to my home and drove away,
To the airport along the motorway.

Sitting on the plane I began to dream,
Iceland, how would it seem?
Unfortunately, my thoughts didn't get very far
As the baby behind me started to scream!

Beautiful, peaceful, idyllic place.
Snowflakes that looked like shimmering lace,
Swirling and dancing all over the place,
Landing cheekily on my freezing face.

So many lovely places to be,
All surrounded by icy, blue sea.
A tranquil feeling envelops me,
Totally, totally free.

My Visit to London by Louise (Fox Class)

In half term my family went to London.I had to run to catch the train,as it arrived while I was in the ticket hall. We arrived at Waterloo and went down lots of escalators to the underground.I did lots of walking and my legs were very very tired. Finally we arrived at the science museum. My favourite thing was watching a space film in 3D. My best bit in London was seeing the London Eye at night with it's red lights. I enjoyed seeing the River Thames and Big Ben in the background, which was lit at the top green. It was very pretty with all the lights at night.

I love Lego! by Joshua (Fox Class)

I love building and playing with Lego, my playroom and bedroom are full of it and Mummy says I have too much but I don't think I have nearly enough!  I love Star Wars, Jurassic World and Ninjago Lego but I've got a new Nexo Knights set and it's now my favourite.  I'm getting really good at following the instructions and building big sets.  I got the Lego Dimensions Starter Pack for my birthday so now I can play Lego on the PS4 too!  I enjoyed the Electro City Workshop at school and wish we could do it every week!

A verry bouncy day by Hannah (Hedgehog Class)

Once upon a time there was a rabbit who was funny and very bouncy. People laft at him and he likt it....because what he did was fall in muddy puddols on pupus because he was silly, verry silly infakt so silly nowon cude stop laffing not even Tom the rabbit could stop laffing so they all fell rit in a muddy puddol because they left so much and got the hikups even Tom the rabbit got the hicups as well and they cudnot stop laffing and they said yore so funny Tom wen are you going to stop laffing and Tom said I don't know becose I am doing it on pupose said Tom becose I lik being funny it is fun why don't you try so Ben and Lily and Bendoamane all laft so mutch they got the hikups and fell in a muddy pudull agan and agan.

Crocodile, crocodile snap, snap, snap
Elephant what do you see?
I see a hippo looking at me
Jellyfish how do you wobble?
Wibble, wobble, now give it a shake
Kangaroo, how do you jump with your mommy and your feet?
Monkeys swing with a sing
Swordfish with a sword nose, don’t fight the beasts
Octopus all hugging together, starts with an ‘O’
Penguin thought “where is my egg?”
Tiger, tiger, starts with a ‘T;’ don’t eat all the meat
Vultures, don’t you see the island

Rabbits have very long  ears. Rabbits eat grass radishes and carrots. They have white bob tails THAT  ARE EVEN MORE FLUFFIER THAN THEIR  WHOLE  BODY!

They can be born, white, grey and yellowish, they dig holes in the ground. They hop very fast. Rabbits can live in meadows, woods and forests. Male rabbits are called bucks and female rabbit does.

The ears of a rabbit can be 10 cm long.

Rabbits are herbivores, a young rabbit is called a kitten.

Rabbits live in groups. A group of burrows is called a warren. Rabbits live mostly in North America. Rabbits live around 10 years.
